Body contouring surgery is a customized combination of surgical procedures designed to remove this excess skin and fat and give you firm, compact body contours. Patients often require one or more of the following procedures:

What to Expect

Dr. Pap performs body contouring surgery in a hospital setting using general anesthesia. Some patients are able to go home the day of surgery; others must remain in the hospital for supervision.

When planning body contouring surgery, the most important factor to consider is safety. These procedures are long, and often have to be done in stages. Dr. Pap will generally not exceed 6 hours in the operating room with the patient under general anesthesia. This rule allows him to provide a safe surgical experience, while minimizing the possible complications. Dr. Pap will usually schedule the next procedure after the patient has healed and recovered properly from the prior procedure.
